We verified the optical cables of the convergence layer encompassing approximately 50 square kilometers. Our scope for this project included 80 kilometers of optical cables connecting 9 transmission rooms. We surveyed 500 tube-wells, identifying 4 kilometers of incorrect cable routing, locating 21 fault points, and 88 troubled cable cores.
The operator/maintenance company collaborated with Fibersen to complete the troubleshooting process. At 14:35, an alarm was triggered, prompting engineers to enter the base station room for diagnostic testing. The results indicated a fault located 1,040 meters away. The team then proceeded to check the covers, identifying the faulty point after inspecting seven tube-wells along the cable. The entire process was completed in just 35 minutes.
Throughout testing and utilization, the Dynatop system has encountered numerous unique circumstances, including tube-wells with depths exceeding 4 meters, tube-wells featuring dual covers, tube-wells situated on boulevards, long-range scenarios, pole arrangements, etc. The Dynatop system has performed effectively across all of these scenarios.
